Procrastination is probably our world’s worst enemy. Whereby various events should we say to ourselves, “I am going to workout tonight” or “we do working on waking up at 6 am tomorrow to go to the gym?” Well, the answer I can guarantee is – yes, a lot.

Staying motivated doesn’t have to be that hard, so we’re going to give you our top tips so you can get it done and start seeing results in front of your own eyes.

1. Stop Hitting The Snooze

We’re all guilty for it, and we hit snooze because the sleep is just too good, and we are trying to avoid all of our day’s responsibilities.

As we set the alarm for the perfect time in the morning to get up and be productive, but then when the dreaded alarm sound starts to play, we hit snooze about five times and end up waking up an hour later! We recommend trying to leave your phone on the other side of the room when you go to sleep.

This is so when your alarm goes off, and you physically have to get out of bed to go and turn it off. And wallah – you’re up and out of bed!

Just how important is water to our body? We are all told to drink water to help our skin and hair, but water is so essential for your body too.

As drink enough water helps to keep all our vital organs healthy and aids weight loss, we recommend drinking a glass of water before bed every night.

In addition to this, try drinking another glass first thing every morning. Keeping your mind and body hydrated is a great way to fuel your body and flush out toxins, setting yourself up for a productive day. When your day is more productive, you’ll be more encouraged to get that workout in and burn those calories.

3. Find a Partner (Stay Motivated During Winter Months)

A workout buddy can make your workouts much more effective and give you the much-needed encouragement to go to the gym. Staying motivated can be much easier when you have someone else to keep you in line, if you don’t feel like going to the gym one evening, well, you’ll have to go if your workout buddy wants to go! Take work out partner and keep each other on track! If you plan a joint workout with someone else, you’ll be more inclined to stick to your plan – hopefully!

Sometimes buying gym clothes and equipment can be the motivator we’ve all been looking for. Getting the right gym gear will mean your workouts are much more effective.

How? Do not treat yourself to some new workout clothes. Whether it’s a pair of trainers or a new t-shirt, feeling comfortable and confident in yourself will help you feel a lot more motivated.

Layout your clothes the night before so you’ll be ready and raring to go in the morning, without having to waste time deciding on what to wear.
